I am instaling my engine in a 95 Grand and I am having a lot of trouble lining up the damn converter bolts. The engine is 4.0 liter and a automatic trans,I am not sure on the trans it has a short pan on it? The engine is a Jasper reman. it came with a flywheel and I have checked parts numbers from Autozone and they list the same number. I can see what appears to be a mark on the converter I suppose is a align mark but no luck on getting all four bolts in. I can get three in a I am half a hole off on the fourth.
1) For your 1995 w/242ci, the transmission will be a 42RE Chrysler slushbox.
2) While the 242ci is internally balanced (you don't need balance weights to even out the crankshaft throws on the harmonic damper or flywheel/flexplate,) there may still be a "keyed" alignment somehow anyhow - which is why whenever I take the converter and flexplate apart, I'll always remove the first screw and then give that hole a zap with a bright colour of spray paint. Looks like you'll have to do it the fun way - remove the screws, leave one screw in place, then check the other three. If that isn't it, punch a mark next to that first hole and repeat with the next.
When you find the point where all four line up, do the spraypaint bit after visually checkin the last hole, then jump back to the second and put the screw in. Do not torque any screws until all are in place! Install not more than finger-tight when lining things up, and now you know why...
Good luck!

i think I am getting to frustrated with this, I marked the flexplate and tried each hole marking as I go and four down no luck, I checked the numbers on the two wheels I have and they are the same. I dont see any alignment pins marks or anything on the wheel,I am going try again tomorrow.
Thanks for the quick reply!
