clicking noise

have 04 grand cherokee. making a clicking noise while braking. sounds like ball card in bicycle spokes. in addition to clicking also vibrates. only occurs while braking and is not warped rotors. any help is appreciated!

its prob the mount to the rotor or callaber that is broken. it is shaking the the axle when u apply the break and vibreats all the car. that or your pad are chipped up and have things stuck between par and callaper.

well your break is probably shaking your diff or you have a couyple of rist pins or a couple of splines missing in the diff.or a hub breaing is cracked

ended up taken to shop! they said sticking calipers and bad pads! problem is gone. grand cherokees notorious 4 bad brakes! everyone tells me replace rotors every 15000 to 20000 miles. i got 40000 out of set that was on it. thanks 4 help
