so i buy a 93 grand cherokee laredo, 5.2 v8 red tank of a thing at a junk yard auction almost by accident. get it a new battery and drive it around a couple of times (you know, to feel it out...). and i'm coming home from work this morning...literally on empty... when the radio dies. a few moments later all the needles and guages fall.. but i'm still on the freeway 75mph uphill! at the stoplight it dies, and won't restart. pushing a jeep through abusy intersection is not fun... give it a can of gas, nothing. nothing, not even fuel pump, starter click, but yet that annoying door ajar pinging is still there. go figure."factory security", "door locks", "PCM". i can't afford towing home to play with it. can anyone assist or lead me?
