Hi,
Hello to all from Australia.
Hoping someone can give me some advice.
I currently own a 2004 grand Cherokee Laredo wj/wg here in oz.
I am looking at another vehicle tomorrow it is supposedly a 2006 wj/wg ?
Now my dilemna is that after us / austrian production ceased in 2004 apparently the chinese started to make this vehicle.
What I need to know is are they the same vehicle from the same parts or are they made entirely in china and if so are they inferior, superior or the same as the us austrian built vehicles.
I am not sure if I should consider purchasing this vehicle or stay with the earlier built vehicles.
Another question is how good bad are these vehicles off road, I am comparing to the Toyota Landcruiser as this used to be my off road toy and I have not seen many Cherokees on the tracks here in Oz.
Are the drivetrains up to some serious abuse or not?
