I have a 94 Cherokee, and someone is selling a 94 Grand Cherokee that needs a few parts (fuel pump, radiator, alternator, etc). Both are 4.0. My Cherokee runs great but is completely rusted out. Can I swap parts from the Cherokee to the Grand Cherokee? Thanks!

 

Not much will swap over, the radiator is different, the fuel pump may be different, the alternator might swap over, the transmission is different. The front end parts will swap from the XJ to the ZJ, except for the sway bar, the rear axle is completely different because the ZJ has rear coils. The engine is a direct swap.

Depending on mileage I'd say a 94 GC is worth around $2,000. Maybe $2,500.

heck you could pick it up for about $800

 

I'm only giving $200 for it. The t-case and trans have been rebuilt. They parked cuz the fuel pump went, then took a couple other parts off it for another one. I'll try checking part numbers to see if they're the same. Also, do u know if the bolt pattern for the rims is the same? Thanks for all your help!
