Default Check engine Light

Hello to all, I've been reading this forum a lot. I think I will like it here.

I have a 96 Grand Cherokee limited with the 4.0 and TWD. This thing is super nice, I got it about 10 days ago and am already in love.

It runs great, but I have always been paranoid about check engine lights. I did the on/off on/off on thing, and on the odometer it displayed 12, and the check engine light flashed 3 times, with about a full second pause between flashes. What does this mean? I read where code 12 means the battery has been disconected with the last 50 crank cycles. I hope thats all it is! Is that all it is?

I figured out what 2 of my three codes are. It shows 12, 27, 72. The first 2 I got, but can't find info about 72. Its a 96 Grand Cherokee with the 4.0.

Anyone?

A few weeks ago, I told you all about some fault codes my 96 GC had. I have cleared up everything but the 43 code. It stalls, dies while in gear. I have replaced the cat. converter, muffler, coil, crank position sensor. It still stalls. I was told by a supposed to be great mechanic that the Clifford alarm is malfunctioning, causing the engine to stall and die. I yanked it out and drove it a bit, it seemed fine but I simply don't trust the Jeep yet.

Can a malfuncting Clifford alarm system cause stalling/death?

That code 43 misfire could be any of the: plugs, distributor cap, rotor, wires, or one of the fuel injectors being worn/dirty/damaged.
