change rear axel pinion seal
Hi, has anybody tried to change the pinion seal as described in the Haynes manual? There it says, remove wheels and breake drums, disconnect drive shaft, rotate the yoke at lest ten times, then use a inch-pund torque wrench and measure and record the torque required to turn the pinion (not the nut?). This torque + five should be used to put the nut in place.

That is the proper way to do it.
