Right there in the back. CCV hose seems to be leaking on this 4.0.
Good morning folks! I need your help. I've been looking for a 2000-2005 Grand Cherokee for a while and found a 2002 Grand Cherokee with a I6 4.0 in good condition with the right price yesterday. The only thing I noticed was a leak around the CCV elbow. Considering the age and the miles on it (227K), should I expect additional problems like a gasket blowing due to additional pressure once I fix/replace the hose? I'm gonna go look at it again in the afternoon. Any suggestions/opinions are welcome.

I wouldnt worry about that too much. I bought mine with 300k on it (rebuilt motor and trans w/200k on them) and I replaced EVERYTHING vaccum wise and runs great. At 227k you can expect some dry rot in the vaccum lines and such. No big deal and cheap repairsOriginally Posted by Haweroll

The grommet is probably rock hard and leaking. You can get the CCV, piping, and grommet from www.rockauto.com.
