cb radio, just need to run the battery wire

Default cb radio, just need to run the battery wire

for the love of Gawd someone tell me where they ran the stupid wires to the battery lol.

Im side mounted on passenger side, hoping to run it around glove box area but idk.

Please show me some pics or something I gotta finish this in the morn.

i don't know. cb's aren't factory. so you never know where the PO ran the wires.
my guess is probably under the dash to the fuse box, or i know on tj's, there are two live leads behind the fuse box. one switched.

if you can't find where the PO ran the wires, why not just rewire it to the fuse box yourself.

i wouldn't go straight to the battery, you will get noise.

use a cig lighter plug,ive run mine like that for years,never had a problem

I scotch locked mine to the wires for the acc. outlet in both my ZJ and XJ.

Run under the dash with a spade connector tapped into an empty fuse slot.

762 where you from? I need to borrow your swr meter. I ran my wire to the fuse for the trailer lights since I dont have a hitch

hey thanks everyone. I wanted to run it to the bat but decided to go to the cig lighter.

First time doing this but it turned out great.

Today I installed a CB, Fire extinguisher mount, painted most of the visible under body, and got my center caps for my wheels. Dang Im wiped! Being over 100 degrees out did it I think.
