No everything is stock. I did pull dash to check. There is a screw tapped in by steering column. I have back up lights and brake lights ( only when i hit brake pedal) when head lights are on

What Bustedback is trying to tell you is there is a wire on the stock radio that dims the clock and station lights when the headlights are on. This wire should not be hooked up to the new radio. This may have melted something in the switch or wiring.

Also, the tail light sockets can melt if you sit in traffic a lot with your foot on the brake. Chrysler didn't use high temperature nylon plastic for the tail light housings or the sockets. LED replacement bulbs will run a lot cooler, but you need load resistors in the circuits for the flasher to work properly, OR use an flasher designed for LEDs.
