Default Body lift after suspension?

I'm putting a 3" suspension lift on my 96 ZJ this weekend. Is it wise to put a body lift on it later on down the road? I'm asking because I'd like to fit tires that are less the 33" total diameter. Will they fit with just the 3" lift and not rub? Or do I need to cut?

Your ZJ is a unibody, the body is part of the frame.

If you do a body lift on a Grand Cherokee or Cherokee, be sure to post some pics!

A body lift is impossible on an XJ, WJ, ZJ, WK or any Cherokee or Grand Cherokee (except the old FSJs). We don't have frames. You may need fender cutting to fit 33s on 3" but I don't know ZJs that well.

jeez I don't know what kind of forum you have been on, but if you think we are tearing him apart, then you sir need to open your eyes. This has got to be one of the most mellow forums Ive been on. Im a member of many other forums, and they will rip you a new one for asking a question like that. Its not so much that we are being dicks, we just hate seeing the same stupid question posted over and over. Ive held my tongue soo many times on here its ridiculous. Rant over...

As far as the body lift goes, ill explain plain and simple, its impossible. you cant do it, unless you throw a frame under it.

34s with about 3.5" of lift. Pounded back pinch seam and trimmed front bumper. No rubbing while driving. Im sure anything flexed they would rub bad. Could use longer rear control arms to push them back in the wheel well but they do fit!
