Default bleeding steering gear box

i just put in another steering gear box into my girlfriend's 2000 wj... i searched around online on how to bleed the system. I found how to bleed the pump and did that... but, how do you bleed the box? still got a squeel and whine that wont go away...

thanks, james

that's it, check the belt for the squeal, too loose or it and the pulley are glazed

well I didnt touch the pump or pulley...and the pump sounded like it ran dry when I first started it up....i think I noobed out and damaged the pump...tryed bleeding more and got bubbles but fluid is still milky...i originally swapped in a jy box because I would get a grind/low pitch squeel when going straight but barely turning wheel left and back right... but this is turning the wheel the inch or so of play...still going straight....so I figured it was box...now after driving tonight I am getting the grind noise worse than ever(can feel it vibe barely on steering wheel) in addition to a small squeel....im getting jy pump tomorrow....could this solve my original issue? gotta get this issue resolved
