There is nothing special about these engines, they dont need anything fancy. Your best best is to simply use champion copper type plugs. Or at least you should use a good name brand, copper type plug.

Do not waste your money on platinum plugs or E3s, good ol' Champion or Autolites will work just fine.

I run champions in my I6 and Autolites in my V8. Both being Copper core.

Most parts stores will have three choices of wires, economy, mid line, and premium. I try to stick with the premium wire set from NAPA.

I have the Performance Distributors ignition upgrade on my V8. It includes a Screamin' Demon coil, 10mm Live Wires, Brass terminal cap and rotor. They recommend one heat range colder plugs as the Coil has a more powerful spark compared to stock so I have Autolite 3923s for plugs gapped out to .065" per recommendation. I also went one heat range colder because of my SCT Tuned JTEC.

As for the I6 I am running the premium wires my local auto store sells with brass terminal cap and rotor and champion plugs.
