Default BCM

Have my Cherokee that is draining my battery it all comes up to the cluster fuse by the passenger side. I got another BCM from form another Cherokee and the number are not the same. I been reading in the Internet that it can damage my computer if is not the right one. How cam I tell is the right BCM I need. Il looks just like mine

From what i've been reading about the BCM is you need to take it to a jeep dealer and have them flash it before installing to put the correct vin in the memory

Went to the dealership today and they said it mite not need to be program
