I doubt changin your shocks will help, but things to look at include u-joints, damaged driveshaft or maybe corroded off balancing tabs on driveshaft (pretty uncommon), maybe your wheels and tires are need balancing or a defect came up in one of the tires. Let us know what you find out!

I mean, sometimes you can get away with simply crawling underneath the car, grab a hold on the driveshaft near either of the u-joints and try to move it around to check for excessive play in the u-joints. If either one is really shot to the point where the needle bearings have turned to dust, you would probably see it, but your best bet really is to remove the driveshaft and check for excessive play or binding of the u-joints. Removing it is not that big a deal, but be sure to mark it's position relative to the rear axle flange/coupler before removing. Good luck!

When ever you get a vibration in the steering or what ever it is all ways go and try to tighten everything you can think of. Most to always that is what it is. Just something that got lose.
