Is the 8.25 the same as the d44a? What gears are u running?

I run 4.56! I dont know much about the d44a, but the ya the 29 spline has been compared to a D44!

what the gears or the axle? total gear install your looking close to a grand, axle should only run ya $150-$250ish

I don't think ZJs ever came with the C8.25, just the D35 and the D44a.
Do the ford axle.

I know a guy with the D30 locked with 37's for 3 years now with hard wheelin and no problems. He broke his D44 though.

I could have sworn the zjs had a 8.25 in some of them... again not a ZJ guy though!

Well that depends what kind of SYE you want. A simple look at the parts stores would tell you that most larger online parts stores sell them, just depends which kind you want.



Better advice would be to get your lift/tires/axles in order before planning an SYE.

I meant installed to see if you actually needed an SYE...You said earlier you're going to be starting off with 35's, right?

Ya 35s. It's going to need the SYE cause the rrear end vibrates with no lift at all already.
