Sup? I've got a '97 GC TSi with a 4.0, sadly its automatic and i know the 93-94 came in manual and im thinking about swapping, so i got a few questions.

1. is the swap easy to do, and what parts are needed?
2. where can i find the parts?
3. whats the price estimate?
4. how long will it take to swap?

Thats all i got to ask for now =/

 

best to find a donor. the swaps I've done I changed factory pedals, wireing, floor panels & e.t.c. How nice a job suits you?

 

Doing a little research about the idea of swapping my auto for a manual, pretty much just in case it takes a dive. Also considering the 700r4 conversion.. Are all 4.0 trannys swappable or does it depend on year? Will the wiring have to be re-hardwired or is it a plug and play? Anyway, any info greatly appreciated.

 

get a plain cherokee ax15 setup from a 93-95 which should be an easy job except for putttin in the new pedals and a clutch master.
