Well to start out, thanks to all who have posted on this subject i have gained alot of good knowledge about how to dig into solving this issue. Actually started about a year ago and my 97 GC has been parked ever since due to lack of funds to put into this vehicle. In last couple of days have installed new batery first to bring back to life and once running decent began working on front end. replaced all ball joints upper and lowwer( which gave me hell coming out) replaced sway bar links and bracket bushings, and also the steering stabilizer. this seems to have pretty much cleared up the wobble for now but still a lil play in steering. need to replace front tires and have an alingment done before proceeding. will put up some pictures later of work done as I plan to start a build as soon as its back up to par and running smooth..
