another 2wd to 4wd ?

Default another 2wd to 4wd ?

Will an OD unit from a 97 zj 4x4 42re fit my 00 wj 2wd 42re and will the 242 out of zj work in wj I know the zj has the speedo in tcase but are there any other things dif about them...I've been told the input shafts are same length is that true

I don't know for sure but I could only imagine that the shafts are the same length and it will work fine.

P.S. The real Stig wouldn't need to ask this question and would've had the swap done 11 years ago. lol

haha... i did do it 11yrs ago but since then i had to be rebooted and lost all my jeep info lol...thanks for the input
