Adding fog lights
My wife has a 2006 Grand Cherokee 4.7 Laredo. I'm looking to add fog lights since it didn't come with them. I ordered this set, . I was wondering about hooking them up, first off, should the stock mounting points be there once I take the rubber hole fillers out? It did look like the stock wiring is there behind them, but can I just hook them into it? I thought I saw something about having to have the dealer activate the feature.
Next, where did the option installed lights activate? Were they on the multifunction column switch that has the turn signals and headlights, or is there a switch that replaces a blank on the dash that I can get for them?
Lastly, if they can't just be hooked up, what's the best way to wire them aftermarket? My wife was talking about maybe just having them connected to the headlight switch so it turns them both on, or an external switch. Any complications for either route?

mounting points should be there, along with the wiring.
the fog lights are controlled by the multifunction switch
this is the one i believe you would need

thats just the first thing that came up in google so you may be able to find it cheaper, i didnt look very hard.
