AC low side reads 0 with compressor engaged
So I went to recharge my AC system with some R134a and I noticed the compressor wasnt engaging. I checked the fus box and noticed that fuse to the compressor clutch had blown so I switched it with the one from the horn which fixed my problem of the compressor clutch not engaging. However when I went to charge the system it wouldn't take and the gauge kept dropping back to zero when i let off on the canister. I'm assuming there's a leak and that when the compressor is off I'm just charging a portion of the line. Reads around 45psi with clutch disengaged and 0 with clutch engaged. Also the disengaged reading will rise after I charge it while the clutch is engaged but the engaged reading never rises for longer than im adding to it. Sound like a leak?

There are several ways to check for a leak.
A sniffer will help pinpoint a leak. A leak light and glasses can visualize dye that leaked out of the system.
An empty system can be connected to a vacuum pump, then shut down to verify the system maintains the vacuum.
