99 Jeep Cherokee Torque Converter
I have a 99 jeep cherokee. A code keeps popping up regarding the Torque Converter. Should i try and replacingthe converter or look for a used in good shape transmission?? Any help is greatly appreciated
Side note. When driving down the road the rpm's move up at times and go alittle spastic. Also while sitting still and car in drive you can hear a grinding/roaring sound.(if you put the vehicle in neutral the noise stops)

Grand Cherokee or regular Cherokee? Either way it would probably be easier to just swap in a new tranny unless you have the knowledge and easy access to the parts you would need.

Then you're in the wrong section, but like I said, if you can find another transmission for cheap it will be easier, unless you have the knowledge and tools to swap out a new torque inverter.
