99 Grand Cherokee Brake Booster
Hi All
I have a 99 Grand Cherokee that has developed a hissing noise coming from the brake booster. I have seen a tear in the boot that is connected to the booster and am thinking of undertaking replacing the booster myself. When I look under the hood it appears that it will be difficult to remove the booster due to the metal tubes/lines that are connected to the master cylinder (or whatever it's called). Once I disconnect the master cylinder from the booster is there enough room to jimmy the booster out? Anyone have any experience with this or should I just take it to a mechanic. Thanks for any help
