Default 99 GC 4.7 not charging

Have replaced the alternator twice now, charges for a little while and then will not charge battery any longer. Voltage drops to around 11.xx, both times now... Have also looked for shorts and not found any. fuses are all good and relays and have checked all body grounds. I have replaced the computer as well. Has anyone experienced this similar situation? Any suggestions would be appreciated

Code scanner reads no codes other than bank 1 o2

Stop looking for "shorts", start checking your cables, connections, and grounds.

Oh, and the Grand Cherokee forum is over here.

I've checked all cables before even considering a short. Replaced alternator with a new one and it lasted an hour, before no longer charging battery.

And thank you, I'll post over there haha

You have verified the sensor under the battery is connected and working?

Any codes when you scan with a scan tool? Did the parts store bench test those alternators when you returned them? Not unheard of to get a bad rebuilt alternator or two here and there.
I assume you cleaned the connectors and alt ground ahead of time?
