98 rear trunion bearings
Hey guys. I have the chrysler 35 rear diif and I'm chasing a noise and vibration in the rear diff. I changed both wheel bearings and its still there so now I'm looking at the differential bearings. A friend says that once I pull the axles and the 2 "C" brackets in the diff, the whole unit will just slide out of the housing. Then I can replace the bearings.
Is it really this simple? I would like to know before I tear into it and end up immobile.
Thanks!

Pinion bearings are not easy to replace, you pretty much have to tear down the whole axle in order to replace them and then carefully make sure you get it all set up properly.
