Hey guys a buddy of mine just picked up a 97 zj with the 5.2 and the awd t case. It needs a tranny and a driver's side door. When we called around to the local junk yards they said the door and the tranny are 97 only and very hard to find. Is this true? And if so, why and is there a way around it?

 

thats bs. for the door look at all 93-98 zj's and just switch everything over so itll match (if its a rust/body damage issue) the tranny should be 96-98 if i remember correctly (its been a few years) it shouldnt be that hard to get either of these things.

 

That's what I thought! All the guy at the jy said they are 97 only and it made no sense! Thank you so much for the help
