Hey guys and girls,
Finally got myself a GC. its a 97 with Selec-trac. What i want to do is go through it and change all fluids. What does everyone recommend for fluids in all parts (not so much brands but type)? my main question being in the transfer case. it says in the owners manual to use ATF with mercon or dexron but i thought chrysler did not use these. any advice will be great.

also any other parts that should be checked out/replaced due to age (common failures)? btw it has 122k on her.

 

My transfer case uses ATF4. I have a 98 with a 242 TC. I bought the Mopar brand at Walmart.
