96 Grand Cherokee
I went to start my 96 Grand Cherokee and it was wanting to turn over but never did until I gave it some gas. When I let off the gas it died. All gauges were working properly except for the battery gauge until after so long hat my foot was on the gas while it was running then it shot up to the normal position. I let off the gas it dies. HELP!

do you have a check engine light? Get that figured out. Your local Auto parts supplier should have a rental.
What Engine do you have?
Bad injectors can lead to stalling as well as a defective alternator.
It could be CPS BCM TPS IAC etc.
get some more information and come back. Its hard to say.
