Default 95 zj brake question

Ok I have a brake light on in the dash and it was from my master cylinder being low on fluid.

Well I looked around and a 95 zj doesnt have a sensor listed anywhere, so I am thinking that someone put in a different master cylinder, but not sure.

So my question is can I take out this sensor or put some rtv on it to seal it up since there is a small leak coming from it?

Also the ABS pump has a o-ring sticking out and there is fluid leaking from there, and since they are $1300 to replace how do i go about removing it and getting rid of the abs all together.

Easier to find the ABS pump at the local boneyard, or check with your NAPA store and ask if they know of anyplace that can rebuild your unit.

I found one a t a junk yard, but he sensor that is in the side of the master cylinder still has me confused, as I cant seem to find any fluid sensors for a 95 zj with the the sensor in the master cylinder like mine?

The light could be on because of a pressure differential in the system.

Just for the record, the sensor I thought was in the master cylinder is in the the valve below the m/c,and it is the abs pump.

There is a valve with a o-ring sticking out, so i am going to see if i can get the orin back in and if not i will buy the used pump.

Any tricks to bleeding the system after replace the abs pump
