I just bought a 95 Grand Cherokee and have an electrical question. Basically there seems to be a strange connection between lights that shouldn't be related. There is the ring of light around the ignition, to help you see where to put the key if it's dark out. And there is a light in the visor next to the mirror you can use. The light next to the mirror is extremely dim, and when you adjust the slider to make it less dim, the ring of light on the steering column dims along with it.

This is kind of confusing to me. Is there anything you guys could recommend me take a look at to try to figure out what's going on?
