Hello all. I'm new to the site and looking for help.
I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the 4.0.
The problem I am having is finding the right hardware parts for the rear parking/emergency brakes. All the stores I have gone to have had the spring kit, but it is missing the lever that connects to the cable. This is the lever I believe that when the cable is pulled, it pushes the brakes outward to engage. I replaced it all about 3 years ago and do not remember where I got the parts but all the places I have been searching including online have not had that part.
I tried searching the forums to see if this has been addressed but did not see anything. Thanks for any input.

update: I guess its called the cam lever. just wondering if a replacement can be bought instead of trying to free it up because I don't think that will be possible.

 

In my experience you'll never see that part in a spring/rebuild kit. Someone parting a pre 96 ZJ or an XJ D35 should be able to help you out.
