Default 94 Grand Cherokee Laredo won't start

New to the site so..... Hello to everyone! I have a 94 Grand Cherokee Laredo that refuses to start. Unfortunately it left my wife stranded at school while she was picking up one of the kids. Jeep turns over but nothing after that. Obviously, either no spark or no fuel.
First started with pulling fuel line off the rail. Nothing. Just to make sure that filter wasn't clogged I went and pulled line off the filter and still don't get any fuel.
Checked fuses and relays and from what I can tell, everything checks out fine. I'm going to assume that the pump has bit the dust.
My question is: Is there a way to check if the pump works without having to pull the thing out? Maybe create a "jumper" in a harness somewhere?
Unfortunately I don't have the FSM to the jeep, just a crap Haynes version, which is virtually useless on trouble-shooting. If anyone does happen to have FSM to it, please let me know! I have other minor issues that I would love to work out while I have the tools out.
Thanks to you all.

Welcome to the site. I think that pulling the rail tells the story that the pump is toast.

Yea, after I pulled the line off the filter and got nothing, it was pretty much a no brainer after that. Thanks for the info on removal/install by the way. Just out of curiousity, what should a new pump run $$$?

Inline 6cyl.. Link that you sent for Autozone shows $187 for it. Got to be a better deal than that around. Will poke around the internet and see what I come up with. I'm on a limited budget to get this thing running again.
