93 Gc rear lower control arm installation
I ordered a new set of rear lower control arms for my 93 zj and had a bird installing them. The old ones fell out once unbolted, as for the new ones I noticed on both that one of the bushings is slightly longer making it a pita to install. The only way I could get them in is to bend the bracket on one side wider then use a combination of perswation tactics to make them fit. Thankfully one end of the new arms was fine and slid right in. Any one else have that problem?

I did mine with the wheel still on the ground, but with jack stands on the "frame". Piece of cake. The rears were even easier.

just place a few jack stands under the unibody frame and do one arm at a time. Use a floor jack to move the axle if needed and tighten the bolts with the weight of the Jeep on the ground. It's super easy and you don't have to mess with the coil springs at all.
