5.2 low oil pressure
my jeep usually runs around 40 or so, but lately at random moments (not only when stoping) it decides to drop to 20, im pretty sure this is a problem, any idea what could be the cause?

It's normal for the oil pressure to drop at idle when the oil is warm. But it sounds like your sending unit is bad.

You can do it, the part is cheap and is located at the back of the intake manifold next to the distributor on the 5.2. You may want to buy the sending unit socket, it will make the job a little easier. Just be careful not to over tighten the new sender.
