Default 4inch lift

Im thinking about adding a 4 inch lift kit to my jeep but am wondering what kind of issues I will have to worry about. Will the transmission slip or parts wear a lot faster than if I kept it stock height? What about handling and the risk of roll over??

with any modification to a jeep other then keeping it stock, you will wear out parts faster. lifting it and ading bigger tires and such will cause more of a strain on it cause your doing something to it that it wasnt designed from the factory to do. im not saying your going to be blowing up motors and frying trannys but litle things like ujoints, hub bearings, and such will wear out faster. your not going to replace them every other day either it just depends on how hard you drive your jeep. i have a 2000 XJ ive owned for about 3 years and i already had to replace the driveshaft twice and hub bearings once along with a radiator, 3 starters, and two alternators. but i drive mine real hard and most of the damage was due to mud.
