Default 4" with spacers

Right now i have a ZJ with 2" spacers all around. I got a 4" for it and i was wondering if putting the 2" on with the 4". I know that it will work but will it ride ok? I do not need 6" of life right now for what i want to do with it. just want to see what you guys think about it.

Welcome to CF from Dan in Tenn. Not sure on that, so I'll let someone with more lift experience report in.

OK, well here's a similar question. I've got a 4" Rough Country lift for which I had to drill another hole for the front track bar and a bracket for the rear track bar. Probably just have to get adjustables and go back to the original mounting holes huh? And do you guys know how far the control arms need to be adjusted to?

Control arm adjustment is not much I think about another 1/2" out or less..

As for track bar ya you'll need a adjustable..

Ya my bud just got a rubicon 3.5 in super ride kit for zj he is running 2 in spacers right now and is wondering if he should keep them on when he does his lift. He is worried about vibs and things of that matter. Do you think hes straight leaving the spacers in and making it a 5.5 in. If so what is needed besides what is included in the lift?

i had 3.5 lift on my 96 ZJ with 2 inch coil spacers... had DW real bad after everything settled... tride adj track bar... longer shocks... all kinds of stuff... even though my steering damp felt good when i took it off i replaced it with a ole man emu and bam... problem was gone... Got pics of it in my album... fit 33x12.50r15's with alittle trimming... i had the cheap EZ ride suspension lift so flexin and rock crawlin was out the question anyway... drove great though after the DW issue though... even at 90 on the interstate...

We ran a 6-inch lift on a '99 using a 4-inch and 2-inch pucks - worked great!

I'm glad to hear that! Just got my t-case drop today and the lift will be here soon. Hope it works out well. I will have to get some pics up some time when it is done.
