Default 4.7 engine dimensions

Can anyone tell me or direct me to the engine dimensions for a 4.7L v8 from the WJ? I have been searching high and low and I can't find it anywhere.

thanks

This is all the info I could find.

Or are talking about the engines exterior dimensions?

Well since the 4.7 is an overhead cam engine, and my '04 WJ has that engine, I can tell you it's wider than the Vortec, which is based on a small block Chevy design. So the Vortec is a more compact package that is easier to fit in a tight body like the XJ. The 4.7 would be a nightmare. IMO
The Vortec makes more power than the standard 4.7, but with the 4.7HO makes more torque, almost the same HP.
5.3: 270-305 HP, 315 lb.-ft. torque. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Vortec_engine
4.7 : 235 HP, 295 lb.-ft. torque.
4.7 HO: 270 HP, 330 lb.-ft. torque. http://www.wjjeeps.com/engine.htm

it's wider at the top than at the bottom, though, right? do you know how tall it is?

i'm aware of the power differences between the two engines, i've been doing all the same research. i'm just seeing how big the 4.7 is for my own curiosity.
