4.7 cuts out and then is fine
That is correct. The 4.7 will run well for a while (months/weeks) and then start cutting out like it's going to die. Pull over and give it a moment or to and then it's fine. She has 130K and my guess is either a fuel pump or the fuel filter is about done. It's been super cold here and it's used on short trips. Water in the fuel line? It does get driven on the highway at least once a week and is kept in a unheated garage.
