I own a 2014 WK2 Limited equipped with the 8.4AN (RA4) radio. I notice that the 2017 (Dodge) Charger and Challenger, as well as the (Chrysler) 300, have added Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. I want to upgrade to the new U Connect 8.4 w/ navigation, if at all possible, to gain that support, since my dad and I, who are the primary drivers of the vehicle, have Android phones, and voice texting without having to subscribe to U Connect ACCESS (we already pay for SiriusXM Travel Link and Satellite Radio, and paying for three different subscriptions would be costly), would come in handy. I know you can add Siri EyesFree for hands-free texting, but again, we have Android phones.

Is it possible to do the upgrade? Or add those capabilities?

Any opinions/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
