Default 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo

My wife just inherited her grandparent's cherry Laredo and I have a few questions regarding the WJ platform.
1. The lower plastics have lost their color, my first thought is proper prep and some color matched SEM and clear.
2. The drivers said actuator seems to be nonfunctioning with the keyless

I know all platforms have their caveats, and I do prefer OEM parts in almost all applications, who's the best source for OEM?

I just ordered her a set of BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A Tires 265/70-16, Anzo head and taillights with Morimoto 4.0 LED's to freshen it up, the only other planned upgrades are Borla CAT back, Thor intake and Bilstein yellow body shocks when needed.

For now, we have two Jeeps in the family, my daily is a 61' CJ5 (Husky OD rebuilt by Herm, Herm reverse Ford steering, Isky cam, Weber 38, .60, Belleview 6000, 11" brakes, Cutlass lockers, Woods driveshafts) and hopefully an SJ in the future to tow our 70' Airstream overlander.

For the faded plastic, use a heat gun carefully. It brings the color back without paint. Go slow to avoid melting it.

The door actuator is a common fail. Buy the Dorman part from RockAuto. It's a direct fit and reliable.

For OEM parts, your best bet is the dealership or use the Mopar parts website with your VIN.

Angelwax Enigma brought back a stunning deep gray to my side plastic trim.
BEFORE

AFTER

it will last for 6-7 hand washing. There is a gray plastic dye product but only available from the UK

Got her cleaned up, new Pirelli Scorpion AT's in OEM size, night and day, so smooth, driver/passenger tinted to match factory, replaced driver's door actuator, new shocks, bump stops, repainted the lower trim, new Anzo headlights and taillights, new EBC rotors and Greenstuff pads, new radio and speakers. I went ahead and ordered all new Moog (surprisingly US made) steering components.

Next on the agenda:

1. diagnose slightly high idle in park. I just put an entire bottle of Redline which actually works as it's formulated with PEA, will change plugs and work my way through the diagnose procedures. I run non-ethanol due to the superior combustibility vs E10, slightly improved MPG.
2. clean throttle body and related sensors.
3. Drain transmission/new filter, shifts fine, but seems a bit sluggish on shift points and no documentation when last changed. Lubegard synthetic additive, recently used it after seeing transmission specialist recommend it, worked like a charm on a Honda Element to crisp up the shift points.
4. new U-joints, slight thump when shifting to drive/park
