My son has an 04 Grand Cherokee that has a driver's side door wiring harness with a crushed plug. I'm 100 miles away, so I can't say how it got crushed, but he tells me it is the male side of the plug, with the female side as part of the door panel switch assembly. There are no wires visible on the female side of the plug. He has located a 99 wiring harness in a wrecking yard, but he doesn't know if the plug is the same as the female side in his door and he isn't sure which wire went to which pin in the female side. Does anyone know if the wiring for the door harness on the 99 uses the same plug as the 04 and, if so, where the wires connect? Had I been there with him I would have tagged the wires from the male plug, but that ship has sailed.
