Angry 2001 transmission not parking rolling

I have a 01 JGC that I changed out the Crankshaft Position Sensor.
I had to lower the tranny about a 1" and got it fixed. It then wouldn't park.
I raised up the jeep and adjusted the shifter cable (it moved about a 1/4 inch) and then it would park... sometimes. When I park it on a slope, it starts to roll while it rolls, it clicks and than a loud clang and it stops rolling and stays in park. This happens every now and then. When it happened last, (before it locked in gear) I someone in the vehicle hold the brake and crawled under there to make sure that cable wasn't loose again and it was still tight. It rolled until it did the clicking and then clang.
Now, the reverse on it stopped working months ago, but never had any problems with the other gears. I just find it hard to believe the parking gear would stop right after I replaced the crank pos sense... any ideas short of taking it to a tranny shop?

Take it to a transmission shop before someone gets hurt.
