Hey Folks… have an issue… just did tranny fluid/filter on my 01 Grand Cherokee. Vehicle completely stock survivor with 160,000 miles on the 4.0 6 cyl… transmission was rebuilt at 40,000 miles, shift kit was included and have had no issues since. After recent service now whenever I turn fairly hard left the vehicle seems to drop into neutral, or tries to downshift resulting in a temporary out of gear or neutral type situation, as soon as car is straightened out again it finds a gear… very odd…. Fluid level is spot on and I have had zero tranny problems in the last 120,000 miles… any suggestions before I take it to a shop? Any advice much appreciated!
