I have a 2001 grand cherokee I'm trying to fix up and had to repair some rat damage in the wiring. Took care of what I had found and the last thing I needed to do was the crank sensor. Starts right up...woohoo!! Fix a few more issues such as brakes and the exhaust and put the battery in again to check my work....no start. No gauges... cranks but that's it.
After messing with it a few days. I see a hairline break in the pcm fuse. Replace that and now I'm having skim issues where the jeep will start then dies... any advice on what to try next?
