2001 GC wont run

My 2001 Grand Cherokee cranks but will not start. All but the drivers door unlocks and when it does run the gauges don't work.

Need some more info Tomy. It doesn't run but when it does gauges don't work? Does it run or doesn't it? Do you have to jump start it, crank it excessively, threaten it, what do you to get it started?
