2000 jeep grand cherokee limited 4x4

My jeep will sputter when I am on the highway, only when i reach between 50 and 60 mph. a few times it did it going 30 what could be the problem?

Engine? Mileage? Any recent repairs done? How long has this been occurring? More info needed.

this has been happening for a month already. we had new brakes done on front and back also some work done on the front axle and new tires and oil change.

I6 or V8? Mileage? That has a bearing on certain issues particular to each engine. IMO
