I want to pull it off the sport and put it on the 2000 grand Cherokee , Will it work or do I need to buy a different kit for the grand Cherokee...

You need to buy a different kit for the grand, the suspensions are totally different on them, I have the 4" iron rock kit on my one grand with sway bar disconnects, the rear has a triangulated upper control arm that u should get with the kit, it's adjustable as are the lower control arms for the rear. So you can locate the rear end and keep the yolk at a manageable angle. The front control arms are stock on my jeep and the lift doesn't seem to have really thrown the axle off much there.
