Default 2 questions

well first off my steering is looooose.
but if it's a steering box it can be adjusted right?

second.. when my headlights are on my cab lights like my stero and speedo go dim to bright to nothing to bright ect ect... any idea whats wrong?

Steering box, nope no way to adjust it, I have the same prob and it's starting to cause death wobble..

Sounds like you might have a alternator problem...

no way to adjust the steering box? damn

and yeah actually that might be it cause i think it may be the original.
but like if i push on the dash the lights stay bright.
my outside lights are fine

Sounds like you might have a ground loose. Have you put in a stereo or done any work behind the dash? You might have left a ground loose.

nope none at all.
maybe it just came loose over the years? idk?
how would i go about investigating that?

Pull the radio out and look at the black wires and see if they are attached to anything metal on the jeep.

Just a question. Cuz I have done this myself. Have you checked the dimmer switch (the rolling thing) and see if its turned down or not? I have forget about that thing before and I went in circles trying to find out whats wrong with it. lol.

no the dimmer thing is up.
i'll check the ground i guess and see what happens

they go from low to high ect.. i think they went out completely ounce

As I read they do it at random. And its only the inside lights that do it. Does your radio and dome lights do it as well?

Ok. Im going to just be honest from here. Im not sure what could be wrong. The only thing I know is a ground wire. But im not sure where the ground wire is for all of the interior lights and power. And The headlights dont do it. Man im not 100% sure. Ground wire is the only thing I can think of.

Do you have a stock radio?
