Hello All,

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the cause of a problem I am experiencing with my 1997 GCL 4.0L. Some time back I noticed I needed to crank the engine a couple of seconds longer to get it started. When it did start, the mixture seems to be a little off, I think too lean but not sure. Not seeing any black exhaust when rpm's come up. The driveability is great and since I replaced the fuel injectors the mileage has greatly improved. Even though it is slow to start it always starts with the key, the problem is that it will not start with the remote start when it is "just barely" warm. If it is stone cold or it is warm from running, the remote works fine.

This is a list of the maintenance / replacements that I have done to date:
New Spark Plugs, Wires, Cap & Rotor
New Air Cleaner Element
Replaced all fuel injectors
Checked Fuel Pressure (around 48 to 50 psi idling)
Cleaned Throttle body/Idle Air Control and installed new Throttle body gasket
Replaced MAP Sensor

I am suspecting a coolant temperature switch or coolant temperature sensor not reporting correctly for the computer to trim the mixture for the interim condition (not too hot/ not too cold)

I'm sure you all know chasing these types of problems is a pain but I thought I would post and ask for suggestions. Anybody else had this symptom? Any ideas?
