Default 1996 ZJ 4.0L Waterpump ???s

Hello.

A friends 4.0L ZJ (120,000 mls) needs a new radiator. Does it make sense to change the waterpump at the same time?

Thanks.

With the radiator out it will be a little easier to get to, but if the coolant isn't all nasty and brown and the pulley dosn't have any play I would just leave it alone. When you do replace it, get a new heater tube that threads into body of the pump, these are pretty common to get damaged when you are tring to transfer from the old pump to the new pump.
